I finally tried the Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm
Share
I was very excited to try Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm after reading the reviews and seeing it pop up in various Kdramas. This serum/essence balm stick has become so popular that other beauty brands are coming out with their own version.
Kahi's products are not easily or mass produced because they cultivate precious ingredients found in Jeju Island, located south of the Korean Peninsula. Jeju Island is known for its waterfalls, beautiful beaches, lava tubes, and hiking trails to name a few. The island is famous for many reasons including its natural resources.
The balm is infused with some pretty amazing antioxidants like schisandra berries, scion root, gardenia seeds, and turmeric, but the star ingredients include low molecular salmon collagen, salmon proteoglycan, and fermented oils that go through a very long fermentation process of 744 hours! This mighty balm boosts elasticity, delivers amino acids, helps with wrinkles on your face and neck, and restores luster. It's also infused with natural biofilm called Filmexel made from seaweed that acts as a barrier protection on your skin.
I used it nightly for over a month, and here's my take:
Color: pink
Weight: 9 g
Scent: floral but light. I actually liked the scent.
How it feels: It's glides very smoothly and easily over your face, lips, and neck. It does leave a slightly oily finish but isn't necessarily greasy, in my opinion. Once I apply, I smooth it out with my hands to let it absorb. Sometimes I use the balm as my moisturizer and skip any additional creams.
PROS: It left my skin softer and more supple, and improved my wrinkles around my eyes, forehead, and décolletage. It worked well as a balm on my lips too. My skin felt more bouncy and gave it a nice glow. I really liked using it under my makeup because it left a dewy finish, especially around my cheekbones and kept my skin from drying out. The ingredients are highly nourishing.
CONS: It's pricey for 9 grams and by the end, I was scooping it out (picture attached) as I didn't want to waste any of it! As I mentioned it did help with my wrinkles but it wouldn't be my stand alone anti-aging product if that's your main concern.
Overall my skin feels firmer and smoother, and looks better. It leaves a dewy hydrated look, and is definitely worth trying out. I have incorporated it into my skincare routine because I like the results.
If the price is holding you back, I got you! It's on sale right now for $25 while supplies last!
Cheers!
