I even applied it under my makeup and it kept my skin on the dewier side which I prefer, as layering on makeup can dry out my skin. When I put it on the top of hands, I noticed that it adheres very well and forms a sort of moisturizing layer over it. After being out in the sun I put some on my cheeks and hands and it's very soothing and calming.
