The launch of Beauty of Joseon was inspired by the book "Regulation Book (Gyuhap Chongseo)" written by Bing Heo-gak Lee in 1809 during Korea's Joseon Dynasty. It was a collection of advice for women during that time to
enrich their lives and included tips for skincare, clothing, prenatal care, parenting advice, organizing homes, and even farming.
Inspired by this book, Beauty of Joseon created products from herbal ingredients that have been used since the Joseon Dynasty. Herbs have been used in Asian medicine and food for health, and they're also excellent in skincare.
